Creators,
In 2024, LinkedIn is poised to revolutionize how professionals engage with content by introducing vertical video feeds.
But why should you care?
This new feature, inspired by the success of platforms like TikTok and Instagram, allows users to scroll through various video clips directly on LinkedIn seamlessly.
By emphasizing vertical video, LinkedIn is adapting to modern content consumption habits and providing a unique opportunity for creators and businesses to connect dynamically and engagingly with a professional audience.
At the current time of writing this newsletter, only 1% of LinkedIn users are content creators. 🤯
As more established creators from other platforms join LinkedIn, we can expect a significant surge in vertical video content, making it an essential tool for anyone looking to enhance their online presence and professional influence.
LinkedIn is an invaluable platform for generating traffic, sales, and clients as a content creator and online entrepreneur.
But most people never unlock its full potential - and for one key reason:
They lack consistency with their content.
You become just another drop in the social media ocean without a steady stream of engaging content.
In this edition, you will learn:
How to stop overcomplicating LinkedIn content (and finally crush your content goals)
The 3 must-have content types for a well-rounded LinkedIn strategy
How to create a 8-week tailored LinkedIn content plan in 5 minutes with the Linked-Up Content Planner prompt

From Zero to Hero: How I’m Growing My Followers With An Automated AI Process
As someone who's built a thriving online business from scratch, I know firsthand how game-changing the right strategies can be.
After being completely burned out on creating content, I was determined to build a more automated process to double my content output while doing half as much work.
That's when I discovered the power of AI for content creation.
By leveraging AI tools and frameworks, I was able to:
Create a week's worth of high-quality content in under 2 hours
Grow my audience on autopilot while capturing and following up with leads automatically
Automate and generate content that authentically resonates with my ideal audience, keeping them returning for more
My recent results were so encouraging that I knew I had to share my strategies with fellow content creators and entrepreneurs in a more community-based method.
And so, The AI Escape Community was born.

How to stop overthinking your LinkedIn content (and reach your ideal customers)
I used to think crafting the perfect social media strategy required months of deep meditation in a remote village in Tibet.
But here's a lightbulb moment I had:
Often, you don’t lack strategy - you lack clarity and structure of topics.
You probably know your LinkedIn objectives already.
But you don’t know what to write or create content about to reach your goals.
I decided to stop overthinking my social media content and instead settle for writing content that solves my target customers’ problems.
It’s the bell curve meme:

And 99.99% are overcomplicating it like this.
I believe inconsistent posting comes from a lack of content clarity:
We make it ridiculously hard for ourselves to do a not-so-hard thing (writing) by not having clarity about our strategy, brand, and content plan.
That’s why, in today’s newsletter, we’ll quickly assemble a content calendar for you to follow through so that you reach your content posting goals and get a taste of the sweet nectar of qualified customers for your products and services.
You only need to be aware of 3 content types:
The 3 must-have content categories for a well-rounded LinkedIn growth strategy
Attracting consistent leads and readers on LinkedIn requires sharing a strategic mix of topics beyond your core offer.
I think of these content types as individual spices:
Depending on the meal you want to cook (your desired goals), you’ll need to add different amounts of each spice (content types) to be successful.
Here are the three essential content types to include in your calendar:
📈Growth Content
This type of content is intended to be broad, viral content meant to attract new followers outside your core niche by highlighting interesting tools, habits, or tips.
Examples:
"15 TikTok hacks every entrepreneur needs to know."
"Mark Cubans’ daily morning routine for killer productivity."
"Best project management apps to try in 2024"
(generic, but very popular stuff)
Share your personal spins on popular topics to cast a wider net and increase visibility when possible.
But don’t overdo this → Growth content will quickly attract a broad audience, so using it too much will dilute your audience.
🧠Knowledge Content
Knowledge content provides niche education to your customers.
This type of content will establish you as an expert by solving common pain points for your target customers.
Examples:
"Overcoming imposter syndrome as an online entrepreneur."
"Pricing your freelance services: a guide."
“How to get personalized advice from Steve Jobs & Elon Musk with AI.”
Knowledge Content deepens the relationship with your audience and builds trust.
But it alone isn’t enough to make your audience buy from you…
Authority content is really about showing prospects that:
"I’m the guy/gal for this job because I know this 💩.”
It won’t get you many likes but builds deeper trust and credibility over time.
Examples:
Case study: How I helped Luna grow her agency to $1M+ in revenue with AI Automation
Four must-have email marketing strategies that made our clients $50k in March last year
Four landing page mistakes that may be costing you thousands (and how to solve them)
These tactical insights show your expertise to clients.
Chances are they will be banging down your door to help them solve their problems!

How to create an 8-week LinkedIn content plan in 5 minutes with the Linked-Up Content Planner Prompt
This prompt drafts a 60-day content plan for you and does tailored customer research:
I'd like you to develop a 8-week LinkedIn content plan for me with a balance of Growth, Knowledge, and Authority content.
For context, [INSERT CONTEXT]
I sell: [EXPLAIN WHAT YOU SELL]
My target audience is: [INSERT YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE]
Here are the content types explained:
Growth content attracts new eyes and potential leads by providing value quickly. It solves common problems and provides 'hacks/tips'.
Knowledge content teaches specialized information to build relationships and trust. It educates on specific topics relevant to ideal customers.
Authority content proves expertise and ability to get results. It uses social proof like case studies, stats, testimonials.
Now, do this:
1) Research my target customer. Output a table with my target customers' top 10 desires related to my industry, top 10 dreams they want to achieve, their top 10 fears holding them back, and their top 10 frustrations with status quo. Provide all of these in a shared table
2) With those inputs, develop a month-long LinkedIn content plan for me with 10 posts per week, broken down as follows:
3 Growth content ideas addressing common frustrations
4 Knowledge content ideas addressing desires and dreams
3 Authority content ideas addressing fears and providing social proof
Make sure the content ideas speak directly to resolving the target audience’s pain points and helping them achieve their goals. Show how my product/service is the solution.
The content ideas should bridge the target customers' desires, dreams, fears, and frustrations and the solution the user has
For each week, provide a brief title and description for each post so I understand what it is about. Format it as a table with columns for Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4 and rows for each day."
